Very ATV friendly. The Montana Sunrise Lodge cabin has everything an atv'er would need, including plenty of stuff to cook with, plenty of bedrooms for the group, plenty of parking for the machines, and plenty of trails! Specifically this area has a great number of 50" trails. The trails are high elevation and scenic. You will enjoy the rocky ups and rocky downs, because the trails are all well maintained and safe. In the evening enjoy the fire pit or the barbeque grills. Throw a few horseshoes before you plan your next days ride, any direction from the cabin. And, ride directly from the cabin to the trails and back!

Our 3-generation family of 20 stayed for a week in July and were very, very happy with the house and it's amenities. The bedrooms were adequate for our large group, the kitchen was well stocked and the living room & dining rooms were great for spreading out, but still being together. There are lots of games & videos available & the foosball table was a huge hit! The pictures don't really do the space justice. There were area activities for all ages. We hiked the Memorial Falls Trail, visited the Fire Lookout Tower, enjoyed the Sulphur Springs pools. We did some fishing and enjoyed an afternoon at the reservoir. We did a day trip to Great Falls. The Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center was excellent. With 7 children under the age of 12, the large yard was perfect for tossing footballs, baseballs, running, and water balloon fights. We used the fire pit often in the evenings. We highly recommend this property!

Anything you could possibly need is in this home. We stayed for 10 days with 7 kids most of the time all of them 13 and under. There was plenty of things for them to do. Between hiking up a hill behind the house to running around the yard, playing board games, and they loved the hockey table. The Kitchen is so well stocked that you can pretty much cook anything you would like... and the pots, pans, baking dishing and utensils are all there. It is one of the very best properties we have ever rented. Plenty of spices I picked up a few just because I wasn't sure but they were already there. The town is 20 miles away which is perfect we did all our shopping there. The little meat department in White Sulphur is great!!! Very clean house and the great thing is you can clean up after yourself too....they provide cleaning tools and supplies....We all really enjoyed our stay. Dave is a very nice man and very easy to talk to. Thanks for everything!! Hope to stay again next year!

This cabin is HUGE! It's very convenient for our large winter family reunion to stay comfortably while skiing nearby Showdown, MT. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were very comfortable each night. Thanks!!!

This place is great. We are snowmobilers from Canada and our group of 8 to 10 have been renting the lodge for a week in February for the past eight years. The convenience of being able to access the Kings Hill snowmobile trail system right from the front door makes the place a hit for us, no loading and unloading snowmobiles. The lodge has everything we need. There are lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for our multi family group. The living room is huge with lots of space for everyone to relax. The wood stove feels great after a long day and is excellent to help dry our gear. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is ample seating in the dining area. In 8 years we have never had a complaint. The owner Dave, has always been super great to deal with, and can be contacted easily if any problems do arise during our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This place is so beautiful - mountains, meadows, long gorgeous days and starry, starry nights - this must be what they mean by God's Country! But after spending a day fishing and hiking the Lodge is this amazing place to settle in and relax - it is one of the most comfortable places I have ever stayed when I was away from home - we all were so sad to leave when it was time to go! The beds are super comfy, the furniture lovely and new, the kitchen well-appointed, the great room awesome for games or reading or hanging out. There is Satellite TV (which we didn't need to watch because we were so busy having fun out and about). Even wifi! It was so much better than we had even hoped!! Close by is White Sulphur Springs which has some authentic western night spots and places to eat and very friendly locals. I will come back any chance I get! Thanks to the owners for making a great place for our vacation!

We had a group of 7 guys stay at Sunrise during an elk hunt, we had everything we needed and more! Lots of room for everyone to stretch out and relax after a long day of hunting. The house has everything you could ask for, from the fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, extra refrigerator & wood stove to take the chill off. The owner, Dave, was great; very good communication before & during the trip to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be going back to Sunrise.

If you love the outdoors...hiking, biking, fishing, bird or animal watching, or just chilling with a group of family or friends, this is the place for you. Quiet, get-away-from-it-all feel, but within minutes of friendly local stores. The house will surprise you. Simple on the outside, but once you step inside...great kitchen, comfy furniture...pretty much everything we were hoping for and more!

Our stay at Montana Sunrise Lodge consisted of big carbo-laden breakfasts, walks down the road, across the highway and down to the stream to marvel at the clear water. Sitting outside in the yard or on the deck in the sunshine, or at the table doing crafts (stringing beads, identifying the spring wildflowers we found, making pot holders, painting pictures), or taking off early to go fishing.... our 5-year old granddaughter caught her first fish ever in Jefferson Creek! boy, was she excited.

And yet, the lodge was big enough, when the crowd got to you, you could retire to your bedroom for some quiet (well maybe not so quiet) but at least some private time.

And the animal sightings! We couldn't stop singing..... "Oh give me a home, where the buffalo roam, where the deer and the antelope play, where seldom is heard, a discouraging word... and the skies are not cloudy all day.

I don't think there is anything I would change with this Lodge. It was perfect just the way it was.
