Our "home away from home" has been a blessing to us in so many ways! One of those very special ways is that it has been a tool that has opened the door to new friends and lasting relationships.
We are so very grateful for the kind remarks left by our guests. A few are posted below by permission.

What, what fun this one was. One of our bests! Thanks to Dave and Kelly's beautiful vacation home we were able to tour Glacier National Park, their area around Lewis & Clark National Forest, as well as Yellowstone.
Kris and Kevin Curtis made our trip that much better by accompanying us. If you have never been to Montana, this is why you should go! Enjoy our slideshow.

Our stay at Montana Sunrise Lodge consisted of big carbo-laden breakfasts, walks down the road, across the highway and down to the stream to marvel at the clear water.
Sitting outside in the yard or on the deck in the sunshine, or at the table doing crafts (stringing beads, identifying the spring wildflowers we found, making pot holders, painting pictures), or taking off early to go fishing.... our 5-year old granddaughter caught her first fish ever in Jefferson Creek! boy, was she excited.
Then there were the evenings when we all enjoyed sitting by the fire.... or the nights inside when we sang karoake with the doo-wop singers and the music where everybody got a turn on the drums. The videos taken there are sure to be used for blackmail.
And yes, the lodge was big enough, when the crowd got to you, you could retire to your bedroom for some quiet (well maybe not so quiet) but at least some private time.
And the animal sightings! We couldn't stop singing..... "Oh give me a home, where the buffalo roam, where the deer and the antelope play, where seldom is heard, a discouraging word... and the skies are not cloudy all day. (we had great weather also, a little rain in the evening, but mostly sunshine)
We saw elk, a moose, lots of deer in the yard, and even a bear just about 5 miles away from the lodge. What a thrill!
Evenings were also filled with games.... pinochle, cribbage, Uno Attack (what a crack-up!) and the kids favorite... Spoons! But the favorite past-time was soaking at the Sulphur Hot Springs Pool. Once you got past the smell of rotten eggs it was heaven. We went almost every other night, at least some of us did each time.
I don't think there is anything I would change with this Lodge. It was perfect just the way it was.
